All members actively take part in the progress of Aikido, as a true art and artist should. <BR><B>Core Aikido</B> teaches how to draw Aikido from a variety of situations, thus expanding the practitioner's ability to actually know when to use Aikido and how to bring the fundamental elements of the art into practice. <BR>We believe that the traditional elements of Aikido provide an excellent basis. These are strongly emphasized in our classes. Self defense is a topic that is tackled frequently as it is important that students have the ability to defend themselves. Students are encouraged to build on their artistic style, for we strongly believe that Aikido is a personal art form at the end of the day. <BR>Aikido has a deeply rooted spiritual side, which we teach in a truthful and healthy manner.
